Hi guys, I have a 55 plate X3 3.0d and I wondered if anyone has had their diesel engine remapped for economy rarther than performance, I currently get 28mpg - not bad for a quick 4x4 but in these hard times...

sounds daft but the two tend to happen when you get it chipped/remapped.
you tend to find that because the mod tends to improve throttle response etc you actually end up driving more conservatively as you dont have to plant your foot down to get going.

    100% spot on !!

We have seen gains of about 4-5mpg more on our maps.. You wont see the trip jump up but you will be getting more to a tank full !
    Thanks Mike
