    Hi all

Just after some advice really. I have been thinking of getting my 530d m sport touring remapped but just wondering if it is going to be worth it??

    1. Will it increase the power enough to be noticeable??
    2. Does it increase the mpg??
    3. How much as a average and where to use (I'm in Gloucester)
    4. And do you need to contact your insurance??

    Any advice welcome

    Many thanks Justin

The power increase will be hugely noticeable. On a petrol car, it's more noticed as a sharpening up of response, and a smoother feeling, but a diesel will feel like a rocketship.

MPG- Driving hard will make more power, and use more fuel. Gentle and normal driving, or "combined" will probably see you with better MPGs.

Prices can vary a lot, but the quality can vary too, and the link between price and quality is hard to tell, especially if you have one remap which you would be happy with, but never know what others could offer.

It'd be wise to tell your insurance, most are well used to tuning these days, although detecting and proving tuning is fairly tricky.
