    If you remove the bottom part of the Microfilter housing,
    [item 3 in the diagram] you'll find the rear engine cover comes out much easier.

    Do you know if the 330d 2005 has the same oil breather?

    Same breather as what?

    Take a look at this link, item #11 is the Breather & item #15 is the Oil Separator both of which should have been fitted to your vehicle
