    Hi,

I'm looking at upgrading from the standard exhaust to a performance exhaust system.

Unfortunatley i couldnt stretch to a 4.4 / 4.6 so i'd like to get a twin tail pipe set for each side. And of course, i'd like a nicer sound.

Would anyone share any recommendations? I'll probably concentrate on just the back section first.

All recommendations would be greatly appriciated...

    Cheers

Try Eisenmann exhausts, not cheap though. Or try motecmike and see what he can do.

Also if you are going to go for an exhaust, might be worth thinking about a remap also? It'll release around 18bhp and 22Nm torque extra. The throttle response will be greatly improved and the car will have power through the whole rev range without any flat spots. worth thinking about, oh and it even worked wonders on my fathers X5 4.6is
Oh and you are only around 1.5 hours drive from me

All sounds good. Thanks again. I'll have a think. As much as i want the exhaust etc done, i need to try and sort the other problem first... which i've posted on here but no-one seems to have given me any ideas yet.
The wife drives the car daily and she wants the CD sorted first..! Once i've done that i can do the good bits!!
