    Hi, Is it true that I can fit a M3 or Z3 gearstick to my 330 sport to give me a shorter shift action. thanks Ed

    why dont you just fit a short shifrer kit for the e46?

    pretty sure the Z4 sticks fit...i know the Z3 1.9 stick is good for E36's.
    what i've felt,what i've known
    never shined through in what i've shown.

    One thing is about £330 difference on the price

    AC schnitzer short shift gear selector kit, 330i Price:£363.39 (Mstyle)

    and this from another BMW forum

    Finally got round to buying the z3 gearstick for shorter shifts.

    What a bargain, with all the bits and VAT under £27 from BMW. Can't wait to get it fitted.

    Only thing is the above topic was talking about E30 and E36 dont know if they fit a 6 speed E46 cd330
