    hi hope you guys can help?
    i was wondering wich is the best induction kit or filter replacmet panel, i can get for my 318ci e46 1.9 xreg coupe. i would like bhp,accleration i know this dont help much but gotta start some where.

    Best panel filter is probabaly the OEM BMW one as in tests this one outperformed a lot of more expensive so called "performance" filters.Induction kits give a better sound but wont do anything for performance unless you have a heatshield installed and even then its debateable as to if any gains are had

    arr right cheers, sounds like a lot money for just woosh noise. how about the pipercross viper kit? any ideas on how this performed? as i think it comes with heat shiled but thats not for sure.

    dave f induction kit mate is about as good as you can get, your'll find it on e-bay, but there is a waiting list, so would advise a branded one ie pipecross K & N with a heat shield, not sure if you will get any more power, but it makes a great noise

    Hi,

    Got a pipercross induction kit on my 318ci, also had a cat back twin exhaust fitted. The induction kit sounds great, slight increase in power and only cost £70 fitted
