Hahaha I do the exact same mate, everytime I'm in town I'll head into the tunnel just for a little blast, plenty of smiles per galon to be had in there

I had a quick google of the dave f kit and had a link to a thread on this forum from 2009 but all the ebay links were no use with it being so long ago.

I've never fitted a k&n to any car I've owned or has it been fitted with one but the one time that I did fit a do-luck panel filter on the impreza I had little running issues, eratic idle, the car didn't feel as smooth through the rev range, changed to a cosworth paper filter and the car was back to normal.

Will see if I can find more info on the Dave F kit, seems to be spoken of quite highly according to that thread from 09.

    Thanks for the suggestion

The Pipercross PP1221 is a foam filter which does not require oiling

I was going to get ITG but read a lot of articles about them disintegrating after a year or so.

According to the ITG website the panel filters are also oiled.

Picked up a Pipercross Panel filter for my 330 for £35.99 off eBay.

Sounds abit more deeper and is non oiled also.

    Would recommend
