    Hey Guys

Recently had a hartge cat back exhaust fitted on my 330, it isn't loud enough tho just sounds the same as stock sytem with the golf tee mod. Is it a good move to have the silencer removed and a custom x-pipe fitted to give it a bit more of a growl? Just need som opinions as might get this done in the morning

I'd avoid an X pipe, and stick to the original harmonics for now, sometimes it can help, but they can make it worse as the exhaust will have a certain amount of tuning built in.

You shouldn't have any problems just removing the centre silencer. Take a look, it may have an X pipe built in, if so keep the same sort of system.

thanks for the quick reply so basically just have straight pipes fitted in place of the silencer? at the moment the exhaust is 2 seperate back boxes with two silencers straight back to the manifold there are no joins between the 2 pipes.

If that's the system, stick to it.
I have seen a lot of middle silencers sit very close to each other, inside the same heat shield but I've never looked inside.
