    Hi Guys,

Looking to upgrade the system on my E46 clubsport.

I was looking for any advice on whtehr i should just go for the back box or
to achieve the best results whether i should go the extra mile and do the centre pipes as well.

This is my first "tuning" mod as ive only ever done cosmetic changes in the past so wanted to ask you all. Ive heard that supersprint are pretty good and Eissenmann (forgive the spelling) and would be looking for a nice sounding exhaust thats not "too loud" if you know what i mean. Although impossible without buying the real thing something that sounds like the new m3's in terms of deepness and exhaust note would be tremendous although i realise as i say is impossible without shelling out the cash to buy the real thing lol.

Thanks in advance for all your help,

    William

Do you want it for looks or performance? If your looking for performance there is virtually no gains from an aftermarket system, the best way is to de-cat but then your facing mot failure

    just for the sound mate,

Would there be gains from going with a supersprint, eisenmann etc?

    Cheers

For sound only maybe you could consider something like a gruppe induction kit, had one on my 323 and gave a deep roar when accelerating.
    Do a search on YouTube

    cool, thanks for this!

New to all of this but willing to give it a go, have a kandn system in there
    just now.

Are the gruppe ones high quality? Anyone else used them?

Quite keen on this idea now as the standar system on the clubsport already
has the stainless stell talipipes which look great!

As i said just the sound im after

The milltek cat back system is an awesome bit of kit, I have the 2 rear cats removed as well, (330 has 4 cats altogether) and it sounds even better, and it also passed the MOT emissions easyily on saturday.
The Milltek tailpipes also look similar to the oem clubsport ones. I can post up some pics later on if you want as in work now, and wont let me.

    Thinking of this combination

    http://www.supersprintuk.com/e46-330i-c-49_90_436.html

one of the two back boxes with the centre pipes - will these fit
my clubsport? They are listed as for a 330i. I assume this is the
    same as the 330Ci?

    Cheers

That looks like an awesome system. I've been on the lookout for one for a little while - Ebay only has new ones, Pistonheads is hit & miss (more hit for you I guess, judging by the picture ).

    Nice one

how does the milltek sound inside the car?

I had a blueflame on my 330 but had to take it off as it had a horrible drone at 2000 revs

    do you have any soundclips?
