    hi i know you guys must have heard it all before but im new on here, do decats enhance performance on a e46 318ci?

    also do you recommened a remap?

    You wont be able to decat yours im afraid. IIRC yours will have a lambda sensor after the cat. It will pick up that the car is running too rich and will light the engine warning lamp. It will also lean off the fuel mixture and will lose performance...

    cat back it is then,what about remap,heard it would take it to roughly 160bhp?

    Im not sure mate. You will be best off speaking to Emaps, Motech, or AP tuning who are our forum vendors. They will know what you could expect....

    Gains are not big on that car sorry.. But the responce and pick up are really improved !!
