Hello All I was considering getting my E46 M3 re mapped has anyone had theirs done? Which company(s) are the best for my car? Has anyone had any bad experiences when getting their cars remapped? And how much power gains can I expect. I live in the slough area, berkshire.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi there Tony, I'm Darren@APTuning. I'd be more than happy to help you out with your remap.
Gains wise I think we should be able to extract around the 15-19bhp and 25Nm-30Nm torque. The car will be a little smoother also, ironing out those nasty flat spots which are inherent on most cars. Throttle response will be improved and over all well worth getting done. Should you wish to make use of my services then please call me on 07930410102 to make a booking and get a best price.

Many thanks for the reply I will be in contact as soon as possible. As there are so many people who do re maps do they all use the same software to manipulate the ECU? If not what is the difference between them?

There is quite a few different types of software out there, but its the person using the software who basically has the say on what is happening in the actual modified map that is being produced.
Be assured that myself just like the others tuners on this forum try to pride ourselves on giving the best maps we can. It's obviously not good business to do otherwise.
Look forward to hearing from you

As Above really, On a good re-map you will feel the car pick up and be a LOT less stress full to drive lower done the rev range. So in and out of town is more of a joy !
Its not really about the power on a car like that tho, On you good fuel you will see better mid range and on manual car rasing the rev limit helps too.
