ICSD, forget the filter, if you want a bass type roar fit a gruppe m or Dave f induction kit, will make a noticable sound improvement

Any tips for a fully open valve?
That's exactly what happened to me.

I got a small long screwdriver and hammered it gently into the outside of the left hand side just to open it up a bit and then a small chisel to open it a bit more and than a larger chisel and so on - so eventually ended up bending both halves 90 degrees.

Cool thanks for that will try it out. I wonder if there is a way to remove it totally...

I guess that if it was stuck shut it will be hampering the engines breathing... So it should seem a little more "Freeee" :-)

That was one of the 1st things i did to my clubby, and the CDV removal mod, much better afterwards.
As for tuning, I have the milltek catback and I have also removed the 2 rear cats (330 has 4 cats) via custom decat pipes..bryF induction and a CNL remap, and personally i think it shifts much better, much more MPG, and throttle response..

Yes mate, had the MOT done about 3 weeks ago, and flew through, no probs at all, its the front 2 cats that are the main ones.

jamee, how easy is it to remove the rear cats and what about the fromt one. can this simply be done or do you have to insert a straight pipe in it's place. Thanks
