I have a Remus Powersound going on next week purely for exhaust growl but after that I'm looking for a performance upgrade. I can't decide whether to go for a remap or diff upgrade to say 3.46.

So far, it looks like the diff swap will give better all out acceleration. Quite bluntly, I want acceleration to improve as much as possible. I hear people sayin a remap will smooth out the power band etc but I want to 'feel' my performance mod as much as possible.

    Thanks

ps, been quoted about £250 for a remap. How much roughly would the diff swap be?

    Hi Pauly...i've had a re-map.
You won't get much more power out of a 330 unless you go down the de-cat or supercharger route.
The mapping on mine made a lot of difference to low rev torque and power all through the rev range, which is what i wanted, wasn't really to concerned with top end as its pretty near impossible to go flat out in a 330 on our roads, unless you want to collect some prizes.
Imo the re-map was money very well spent.

Thanks for the answers guys. Had my exhaust put on and the place quoted me £1100 inc labour for a diff swap.

Factor in the limitations created at motorway speeds.....

    Remap it is then....!!
