Just a quick one,
I was having a browse through the forums and thought I saw somewhere that a K&N Panel filter may mess about with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor and was just wondering if this is true?
I am planning to give my E46 325ci a full service when I pick it up tomorrow and was going to use a K&N but if it messes about with the MAF, is there another better filter to use such as green or piper? Also id prefer for the filter to be serviceable so i dont have to keep running about getting hold of BMW ones.
Its a 2003 prefacelift if you need to know, and to be honest im not fussed about sound, though that would be an added bonus. Also i would prefer one that didn't give a performance loss.
Sorry if ive made this really long for no reason, just couldn't find the other thread on it.
