    Hello guys/gals.
I'm new to the forum, I just bought my e46 just 2 weeks ago. I love it. I'm only 21 and my previous cars have been dreadful. But now I have my bmw I can't help but get more from it.
I'm looking for tips and subtle changes, I.e, air filters etc that will help improve the power of my car, any tips would be appreciated. Cheers,
    Tomm

no real quick and easy route to noticeable gains from the 4 pots tbh...you might get a better throttle response from air filters/exhausts etc.
one member reported doing everything to his 318 and actually lost power...til he fitted an M3 lump...that worked.
    what i've felt,what i've known
never shined through in what i've shown.

ive fitted a performance air filter, a decat pipe, and a performance backbox to my 318is (1.9L engine) and noticed a big difference, throttle response is a lot better and the engine feels a lot more healthy. These mods plus a remap would be the majority of what you can do to the engine without spending major bucks which would defeat the point
