What are the pros and cons in fitting supperchips in my 316ti. i have been quoted £239 which i dont mind payin. is there any point in doing this. i already have a performance exhaust fittied by longlife and a K&n Air filter in it. will this also make much of a difference.

from what i understand, the 4cylinder engines are pretty much maxed to their potential. you can improve them ever so slightly but costs are high, and gains are minimal, we are talking maybe 5-8bhp.

don't waste your money.. simple as that..

you're not going to notice any difference.. there was a guy with a 316ti same as us and he paid to have his car mapped which cost about £250 and got 3.1BHP return which wasn't even noticeable so got it reversed and got his cash back..

save for a bigger engined car if your not happy with the 316ti too be totally honest mate.. these cars aren't quick and never will be with just under 90BHP per tonne..
