i have asked this question too, but also what milage have you done ? ive read that re/ maps can put extra torque on the auto box and bang , exspensive repairs, do your homework before any re-map

with that milage i would leave the car as it is, your gearbox will not take the re-map, mines done 81k and im worried about mine.. this is just my opinion though, mike is a very honest guy so send him a pm and explain the situation

it depends how you map it, a decent tuner will take mileage, autobox etc into account and tailor the map to suit. you can make it less aggresive in the lower revs etc to put less strain on.

By all means come and have a go in my own e46 330D which now has 106,000miles on the clock runninng approx 250bhp and 600Nm and has done so for some 6 months now. It also has a auto box but it was changed by the previous owner at around 85K. It just never gives me any problems and is used everyday. Give me a shout on 07930410102
