dont think croydons too far from a-l tunings place..tho ther are a few forum vendors on here who are highly rated..ap tuning..motomech too name a couple....ideally i would get a dyno run before and after as i got my fingers burned with angel tuning in glasgow..ended up no extra power and lower mpg..get the dyno mate...puts your mind at ease

Hey diddles - I'm booked to get the stage 1 remap from Al Tuning on the 4th Sept. If you can bear to wait that long, I'll report back with the results. I picked AL due to their very competitive prices, great reputation and also they fact that they do a "live" as opposed to generic map.

As Gap said though, there are many reputable brands who do great job (check out the vendor forum - Emaps, Superchips, AP Tuning are a few that spring to mind), it's all about what suits you in terms of price and who you feel comfortable with. I think if you went with any of the aforementioned companies, you would be happy with the results.

i used AL tuning, it deffo seemed a bit quicker, but who ever remaps it, its not going to be that much quicker!

im not saying dont get it done, or dont go to al tuning, because i would recommend it, just dont expect it to turn into a racing car!, say a 10bhp/14nm torque increase at fly wheel, would be what, 7-8ish bhp more at the wheels? 7bhp is probably the sort of difference between having a passenger or not.

iv had remap and scorpion full exhaust with de-catted front section, and i really dont know where to go next, cos even with an induction kit ontop, its still not going to have enough power for what i want

The 330is its not about the power as above no more then 5/7hp really.. We have seen a small gain in MPG and a much sharper car after. there a real joy to drive in low speeds in low rpm after the map as there a pain in stock form.. We up the rev limiter too..

£250 all in for that car...
    Thanks Mike
