Personally I would look at Boge Gas turbo.... They are OE on some BMW's and excellent quality. I have fitted them on own my M3.

A lot of people recommend Bilstein B4's for OEM replacements as i believe they make the BMW standard shocks anyway.

Ive just replaced all four shocks for these and it only cost me £225. They are no stiffer than standard shocks either.

    Hi,

Funnily enough I've just been looking at Bilstein 6's as I occasionally tow a caravan. Can get a pair for £104.00

Do they come with the top mounting bracket and sleave cover?

    Thanks

If you're going for B6 you might want to do all 4 as they are stiffer the standard?

My B4's didnt come with sleeves or brackets you just get the shocks alone as per the pic on here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230530455001

Looks like B6 would be the way to go http://www.bilstein.de/products/high...lstein-b6.html
