    Hi All Thinking Of Getting A Air Induction Kit For My 330ci E46 Coupe
    Will I Notice Any Power Increase ?
    As Some Go On About These Kits Dont Realy Do Anything But Make A Noise
    Your Opinion Would Realy Help Allso If These Are A Good Mod Which Will Be Best For My Car Many Thanks Mick

    You're unlikely to see any gains, maybe a couple of bhp with something like the afe kit, the 330 is just about at it's peak as standard, a remap with increase lower end torque and drivability and a few extra top end bhp but that's about it.

    ive set myself to a budget at around the £150 mark i know ime not going to get the best ??????

    thanks afcneal i know the davef do sound very nice but since ime not going to get much bhp gains i dont want to pay too much . the car has plenty of power for me just looking for that nice grunt

    The K&N57i with heat shield is around £157 though some people have reported problems with them. The Pipercross Viper is around £185 and is supposed to be good as is the BMC CDA which is about £200. The 2 latter ones don't need a heat shield apparently as the wrapping shields the heat. You ideally need a heat shield if it's not wrapped which puts the price right up.

    Get it if you can. Simota are excellent induction kits and that worth around £250.

    if you want more power and torque then get the car remapped

    on this ecu it will adapt to a cold air induction after without the need to remap again
