    Yea, the manifold swap doesn't give as good a difference on this engine.

    Maybe, but gives a lot more top end grunt - the M54B25 (325i) and M52TUB28 (328i) don't run out of puff anywhere near where they used to with this conversion.

    I bought the whole kit for my brother's 328i last month for £150, as he has a cable throttle body (the M54 engines being fly by wire) he gets the manifold & DISA, I get the throttle body, injectors, idle control valve - all from a 33,000 mile 330ci.

    He uses his existing throttle body (he has to as it's not FBW) with an adapter plate, remaps it - done. 215bhp easily achieveable like this.

    325i benefits more as you can use the FBW throttle body from the 330i (no adapter plate), and all the intake pipework. Remap it. Done & more power at the top end than the 328i with the same conversion. 220bhp achieveable this way.

    Not about the headline BHP figures though, it's driveability, especially at the top end.

    Cost of parts & remap for my bro about £300. Cost to sell his & buy a 330i? Lots more than £300.
