Hi all, is there anything I can do to give me more power, the car is used daily and have high mileage, serviced regularly,
I would like it to be the same as the facelift 320d in performance,

    Thank you,

    Simple answer is a remap
Best to do a full service before hand and check & clean the EGR also. Worth making sure your brakes are in FULL working order also.

Mike, barge in on somebody elses thread but what can you do in the way of a mild map for 2005 M57 525d not looking for blistering performance just want it around the 200bhp mark

Has anyone heard of ecotech? If so are they any good, I have just found a place in my area,
136bhp would be tuned to 166 bhp with extra 50nm torque?

Does this seem right, how would my high mileage engine take this??
As I said before I service it every 8000-9000 miles, and do around 26000 miles a year,
