    Hi,

Heard a remap should always done as the last mod to take full advantage of other mods. What mods can be done to the M47 136bhp 320D before remap?

    Will EGR delete help?
    Will a decat pass mot?
    Any links of example backboxes?

    Recommended person to remap please?

    Thanks.

with regards to EGR delete, there can be some conflicting views. Some say it's better where as some say the opposite. Generally I simply tell people to make sure the EGR is clean and functioning.
At present a decat will still pass the MOT according to a friend of mine who does MOT's.
If you do a search on YOUTUBE, you will find many 320D's that have non standard backboxes so you can have a listen to the sound of them.

I'd agree with that, keep it clean and all will be happy.
Removal can often lead to fault codes coming up as it will realise.

Older cars didn't mind, but new ones don't like it not working at all.

My 320d has no cats and no backbox I'm running a straight pipe from turbo back and it passed the mot no bother
