Hey, I Have a Cone air filter induction kit on my bmw 320 2.2 and love the noise.
But...not my fuel bill (£100-£150 per week), I still want the car to have a nice
beefy sound but not to loud, Do any of you know how best to get this or even if I can.
Any links vids will be grateful for.
    Thanks

I think the cone filter is going to be the least of your problems! It's not unknown for a badly fitted filter to lose you a couple of MPG, but yours sounds like it has some serious issues.

When you say 'not many', what roughly do you mean?

Sure you didn't leave the MAF sensor unplugged or something when the filter was fitted? That would cause a huge increase in fuel consumption, but I'm sure it would flag up a warning light in the E46.

well around 30-50 a day, and the MAF sensor is fitted but the engine light is one has been read as an air leak and a misfire. I found a hole in the air pipe just behind the maf and fitted a new one but the warning is still there. and the car doesn't misfire it has once but i turned it off restarted and has been fine since. I am having in read again over the week end to see what faults have be reported, as the light has been turned off and waiting for new readings. Its kinda annoying!!!
