i want to improve my cars performance, its only a 1.8 4cyl so not the quickest, i think its 115bhp.

it goes ok but i would like a bit better performance, ive changed to a green filter which has given me better throttle response.

can i replace the throttle body on my car with that of a 325ti compact throttle body?? would that give me more power??

ive thought about re-mapping but not sure it'll make much difference! anyone got experience of remapping on a small n/a engine??

    any other suggestions??

im not changing the engine or turbo charging because these options are too expensive and not practical!

Not worth the money doing a remap.Would advise saving the money for an engine conversion or a bigger engined car.....sorry

Quite ambitious gains quoted there for the 316.... about right for the 325 though although these tend to need to be chipped rather than mapped

I know exactly how you feel....I would suggest getting an engine conversion done then someday as that would be the best HP per £ increase you'll get......
