    Hi I have a e46 330d year 2000 se I have a problem with the battery going flat and I put a new one in this week and still going flat but there is like a wee sound like a fan in the dash or under the bonnet that comes on when you turn the fan off or the car is turn off would anyone know cheers

    The fan you can hear should switch off after a short period of time when the car is switched off. If it continues to run it will drain your battery over a period of time. The problem is often caused by a faulty heater sensor which controls the fan often referred to as the hedgehog due to its appearance. It's relatively cheap and although fiddle to fit it's not hard. It's common for them to fail and cause battery drain.
