    Hi I have a e46 330d year 2000 se I have a problem with the battery going flat and I put a new one in this week and still going flat but there is like a wee sound like a fan in the dash or under the bonnet that comes on when you turn the fan off or the car is turn off would anyone know cheers

    the fsr usually causes this. its the heater fan resistor. google final stage resistor faults and tell us if it matches any of your symptoms.

    Sounds like a faulty heater hedgehog. Common problem and easy to do.
