I have just had a closer look at my bushes as the car still wanders somewhat! so i found that i could move the nsf arm in the bush from side to side alittle, so i decided to take the lollie pop off and have a closer look. and i could see that the bush has gone oval! see attached pics, i have just filled out a form from powerflex with the pics, and i will see what they have to say?

    This is very interesting.

I have never seen this before but I must admit I prefer the old style bush. The ones I have in mine are completely solid

Vaux, get on to Powerflex and see what they have to say regarding the matter and PLEASE keep us updated

Be really interested to hear the outcome of this. Also, if they say it's a faulty bush then ensure they replace the pair

    replHi Mark,

We have looked into this for you, and we are not sure what/where the
problem is. The bushes in the photo look quite round, there is no
pronounced out of roundness that we can see.

We did however spot a possible fitment issue where by the outer black
bush may not have been fully inserted and seated in its housing. With
reference to photo 1, we have noticed that the shoulder/lip of the bush
is not correctly seated in two areas; between 10-1 o'clock and 6-8
o'clock. This may or may not have any bearing on your issue, but other
than that we do not see any problems with this bush.

Please also note, that this bush being made from polyurethane is
expected to have a small amount of flexibility and is not intended to be
"rock solid". We would consider ~1mm of movement quite acceptable.

Please let us know if you have any questions or comments.

The reason that's happened is because you must have some play in the ball joint of the arm.

quick up date after that email i sent 1 back saying you can see it better in the flesh! they asked me to send it back for inspection, i said i couldn't because i need it for the car, so they replied
    Hi Mark,

I assumed that your car is off-the-road.

Can we offer you a new set on the proviso that you will send your first
set of Powerflex bushes to us?

Let us know the address to send these to if you'd like to go ahead with
    this.
