As some of you may know i have had some issues with the lean, and steering of my 46 for nearly a year now! i have eibach springs, a new rack from an o6 model car, powerflex front and rear bushes and alignments, but was never happy withe the rear lean, and after buying the 10mm pad i was given some advice to undo the anti roll bar as it may have twisted over the years and caused it to sit high at 1 side, well i dropped the shocks and undid the anti rollbar, went out for a run and then checked the ride heights again,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Exactly what they were before! so thats out of the window then!, the shocks on the back though are sachs m teck? thought ci's didn't have m shocks??
if they are they arn't that tight, whats a better replacement for a slightly stiffer shock????
On another note i also checked my arb on the front and found the bush to be very week(lots of bar movement) and they are 24mm
There was a alloy type knock when i lifted the car up and down testing thearb bushes, located the wishbone as the culprit, knock vibration through hand. could find movement in it but did have a slight knock to it on the inner ball joint section,, so i'm guessing i may have to get some meyle wishbones soon, that and the powerflex arb bushes might actually make the e46 drive in a straight line like every other car on the road, even the cheap cars.
