    Any 1 know of the best replacent engine for the 323ci? whats the easiest to put in and what year equiptment will be needed?(ancilleries i mean)

    i suppose something with a bit more power, thats worth the hassle of a change of engine>

    325, 328, 330, or m3, basically all the engines quicker than yours will go in easily enough i think, just depends how far you want to push it.

    i supthe question should be what year of engine would be the one with the least amount of complications. what parts do i need to go with the engine to enable complete swap.

    Almost the same question i was going to post as im on the hunt for a replacement engine for my 323ci (2000). But in my case ive found a cheap 328 engine from a 2001 down the local dismantlers, from what little research ive done im led to believe that there the same engine apart from the crank and use the same sensors. So could it be possible to use the 328 engine if i use the inlet and exhaust manifolds from the 323 engine?
