    Hi
I have just had my 330cd E46 remapped to 273 BHP, I really cant stop grinning. I feel I should upgrade my brakes, has anybody done a 330cd to M3conversion? Is there a way of doing this? Or will changing my discs and pads to Brembos do the job?

Other conversions are coming in at £1700

    Thanks
    H.

    273bhp?!

Mine is mapped to 240, and that's plenty for me! lol.

I just changed my OEM brakes for EBC Red stuff pads and turbo grooved and dimpled discs.

I chenged them because I was getting a lot of brake dust, the squeeked like f**k, and I felt I was burning through them a bit with my driving style.

The new EBC's do not squeel at all (make an awesome "brrrrrrr" noise though) and after 2 and a half weeks I have little to no brake dust on my wheels!!!

They really came into their own yesterday, on my way home from work I pull off the main road onto an AWESOME windy, smooth back road. I'm hammering it down there, come round a bend about 80 to find a horse! not only that, but a van coming the other way. - no way round.

    Slam on anchors.

    Lock wheels a tiny bit.

Stop well in time despite scaring the horse a little.

    Appreciate new brakes.

Literally went from 80 - 10 in an instant!

    And still no brake dust!

The car came in at 217bhp on the rolling road as standard, the remap came in at 273 bhp on the rolling road. The torque was about 427nm, the car is rapid and better on fuel, I tried super diesel and it boosted it too another level. I just need some stopping power. Thanks for the tip, what brand where your discs?
