I need some help, i want to upgrade my exhaust system, iv been looking ats off the shelf systems and custom exhausts,

i want to get a fully systen and even change the header and cats so, what are thr pro and cons of a full twin pipe system (2 cats and 2 twin ovals) or a single pipe system (1 cat and 2 boxs centre and rear)?

also while talking about using twin ovals iv noticed some company use 2 lots of 2 small cylinders side by side instead anyone know why?

i took my E46 325i to tony banks who made my exhaust for my E36 328i track car, they left the two small cats on and went to a single 21/2" pipe with a two box system from there.. they recone the two small cats have to stay on !
