hi all just wondering if i put a perormance panel filter on my 99 e46 323se saloon will it give my engine more of a growl? i know that the cone filters do but not sure about the panel filters and dont really want a cone filter in my engine, i know its not gona increase performance unless i use a heatshield and was wondering are the diy ones from halfrauds worth getting? just a tube to put from front grille to air filter box?
    any help appreciated cheers guys

Nope wont make any noticeable difference-putting on a cold air induction kit will make a difference though Also note though that you should inform your insurance company if you do these modifications
