    does my engine need to be running for the fault codes to be read? kev from here (k33vno) said that my car needed to be running for someone to read the fault codes dunno if thats right tho?

    No it doesn't need to be running unless you want to read off live data.

    ah ok well thanks for everyones help but im banging my head on a brickwall here so got a mechanic coming over at half 7 once hes been and gone i will know what the problem is and put it up on here thats the easiest and safest way lol

    the most simplest things :-( my petrol gauge is wrong was saying i had quarter of a tank and it was empty put £5 petrol in and it kicked into life iv now gotta get my petrol gauge sorted poxy thing

    You could have sorted it a few days back if you checked for fuel at the engine

    yeah init i didnt think about checking the petrol tho when my gauge was sayin quarter of a tank and my obc was saying 50 miles is there a way to reset the petrol gauge?
