    hi,

i am just wondering about drilling my airbox and putting a k and n panel filter in there??

i have already taken out the restrictor in the airbox

i have already done this on previous golf vr6s with good results... there is nothing i can find on the forum about this...

    any thoughts???

You might gain a bit of induction noise, but it's unlikely you will feel any power increases (although it will feel like there is more power from the noise)

IMO pointless putting holes in a airbox, will just draw in hot engine bay air.

What ever you do.... DO NOT drill holes in yor air box.

It is sealed with a air feed snorkel so that you dont suck in hot air from the engine bay which will reduce performance.
