Was just browsing the net and came across this:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-E39-LHD-AL...item483bb22cd6

I know it's LHD but if worthwhile i will see if RHD is available.

Im dubious about the HP gain but seems pretty nice. I was going to go for a 528 dual pipe exhaust and mess about with it but this is stainless.

Reckon it would be any good ?

I have never heard of Schmiedmann exhausts. I can see no way on earth that you will get 15bhp out of it. Perhaps, 1 or 2 at most.

I would stick with standard unless you want some extra volume.

Yes, most BMW exhausts are excellent when it comes to maximising power with low noise levels.

If you have the single vanos engine you could release power from the intake side. I will pm you some info.

    +1

I did the conversion with Ian's help on my m52 328 and well worth it.
Makes a huge difference and sounds awesome.

Nice remap to finish off and away we go!!

Keep us posted on how you get on.
