    ok 2.8 z3 m50 inlet manifold and big bore throttle . problem is throttle sticking open when coming of the gas i have fitted a new cable stripped the body and grease it .i have just notice to day if its sticking and then a turn the engine off the throttlr body will shut as normal its like there is some sort of pressure keeping it open so its no sticking as in butter fly rubbing on the body its a pressure prob any ideas anyone please ?

    i got it a while ago of some one but it could have been one of your came with a home made pipe it with blue fitting ? have yo have any prob with throttle pots ??

    No, that's definitely not one of mine. It sounds like you have the diy type conversion. It will have a standard body, not a bbtb

    Do you mean the tps? They are very reliable usually. It sounds to me like the throttle cable is adjusted too tight. Try backing it off a few turns

    i have a standerd body and a bored throttle body . i have tryed all kind of thing new cable having it stack its all greased its strange cus when its sticking if you turn the car off the pot shuts rite away its like pressure is keeping it open some how if you get what am saying
