    hi i have a E36 tds has anyone had any luck in fitting a tuning box i jest bought a second hand one there's a small wire on its own its a proper one witch plugs in to the pump loom anyone have any ideas of where the small wire goes ?

    Put up a pic, I can only think it'b be a ground or power wire.

    I think it might be an earth wire, but it is hard to be certain.

    the person i bought it off said it was a earth wire then i was told by someone that it was to go to the ecu or air flow meter so confused now lol

    anyone used one of these boxes on a 325 tds before just fitted it today and to be honest there dosent seem to be a massive difference they all say between 20 and 30 hp gain so i thought it would of pulled a lot more with the improved toque as well ?

    Put it back on ebay, and put the money towards one of my chips!
    It's easy enough to get impressive gains, so if you are thinking there hasn't been much of a benefit, the chances are it isn't giving you the full power it should.
