I'm looking for a few ways to amp up my ride, while being on a collegiate budget. Can you guys maybe recommend a few things i could do to get the most bang for my buck as far as adding some horsepower/performance goes?

Quality air filter, catback exhaust and for now the golf tee mod on your righthand exhaust flap.

Disconnect the pipe leading on to your back box,put a golf tee or screw in the now disconnected pipe and cable tie it up out of the way

Make sure the flap is open obviously using a hammer and flathead screwdriver if its stuck, not really any more bhp but sounds awesome

Well... you are going to want a Intake Manifold from a 1992-1995 E36 325i with the M50 Engine that will give you decent power but it does have to be fiddled with to fit...

It would also be a good idea to get a BBTB (Big Bore Throttle Body)

Genrally the "Dave F" induction kit is to be considered the best around for the E36 straight 6's - Which is just a Heatshield and a K&N filter -But the kits are some times sold on E-bay... Also to note on this... you will want a cold air intake pipe going to the filter****

Last but not least a Re-map!

Those mods will bang your BHP to around 220bhp.... Remember you had 193bhp to start with...

Depends on budget... what you can get... out of it all...

    Good luck!
