Hmm pay £ all inclusive or buy a new car lol..

The work wont be being done by myself, but a mechanic..

If something breaks I will deal with it then, I cant buy a whole new car, just in case something breaks.. it would still work out cheaper just to buy the parts.

If I was doing an engine conversion I would buy the whole car, but its only the manifold im changing.

i didnt mean buy a new car, just borrow one if you can.
im sure you could sweet talk your way into a new car if you really wanted, every project or bit of work ive done ive had a car on standby incase i ruined something in the process.
if your having it done by a mechanic tho you will be fine as they have everything they need and dont need to run to b&q half way through for a bigger hammer(thats happened twice now)

Mel, might be worth editing the prices out as Ian doesn't like them being published. He doesn't mind his email address being shared though.

No worries! When people started asking about his kit on here I sent him an email asking him if he minded us sharing his email address, best way to contact him etc. He's fine with posting his email address btw!

As Hamish said he is pretty chilled out and easy to deal with. He'll send you a manifold, you send yours back when done
