Right I have been in contact with a bloke who supplies them and these are the quotes I got...

(Please recommend which is the best to go for?, There are extras, are these worth it?)

Manifold kit includes - modified manifold (straight fit), has a custom chamber, screwed and bonded into the underside, which houses idle valve, air sensor and oil recirculation valve.

BBTB/manifold with ASC (he needs old TB and ASC unit for this price)
If I want a new manifold, not second hand then add £
New manifold to head seals are £ for a set of 6.
(can allow £ off the total price if i supply donor manifold).

Only work that will need to be done is fuel rail bracket needs trimming off..

If it were mine, i would go for the whole lot. Makes life so much easier than modifying bits and bobs to fit. Im lazy and i like to just fit and forget.
Nothing worse than getting half way through the job an finding you need more parts.

You can normaly get away with reusing the gaskets - but that is up to you

I wouldn't bother with the new parts just post him back your old parts when your done

if you have ASC then you will need to get this rebored as well as the throttle body

If you dont have ASC just order the second hand manifold including BBTB

Could I get the donor manifold for £60, or is this a good price to knock off the total?

the 328 manifolds arnt worth anything unless its to another 328 owner, but usually they opt for the 325 instead, why replace the standard item when you can replace with an upgrade. this depends on how you are planning to do the car, my advice is to source a cheap car to use for a few weeks, send him your old manifold and get the cheaper option, that way if something does go wrong you have the backup car anyways so its not an issue, otherwise you may get the brand new unit and snap a bolt or break a gasket, somethign stupid wich will cause the car to be of the road for a few extra days, whatever happens make sure you do a nice write up with pics so others can see, my car is gettin the same soon but ill do the mods myself so it will be nice to have a few heads up on problems before i do it.

I don't think you would get a 325 donor manifold for less than £60 and at least Ian knows what to look for so you dont end up buying a 320 manifold by acident

i stand corrected, go for the cheaper option still tho, means you can put the money towards something else
