I fitted a Hoffman sports cat to my e36 yesterday, I took her out for a bit of a drive today and at first it felt as though I had lost a bit of lower end torque. This was mainly felt in second gear up to about 20-25mph, as it got past this though she took off . After a bit more driving and a stop I believe the ECU even though it is remapped has adjusted itself to this sports cat and the lower end torque rectified itself to how I remember. BMW is amazing on how quickly it adjusts and adapts to not only driving changes but parts aswell.

Has anyone else experienced this with any breathing mod or even a cat delete?

I had 2 100cpi cats put in on my M3 to replace the original 300 cell ones, result= more power and torque, proven on the dyno!

Mine was registered before 1st Aug 1992, so the limits are 3.5% CO. The emissions limits are a higher for the older cars..

Make sure you post up the dyno results. I am gonna book mine next week after the bank holiday. just curious to see what they are putting out..
