    Hi
Are cams the same appart from the profile and can thay fit in each engine.I have a set of 2.5 cams and if i reprofile them will thay go in a 2.8.With the 2.8 profile is there enough meat on the 2.5 cams to have them profiled for a 2.8.
    Thanks

Car details?Need to be in your thread title as per forum rules.
Ideally the cam's you would want are the US M3 ones

M50 and m52 cams are basicly the same as long as it is an m50 vanos motor

as above USM3 cams are the ones youu want and would probably be cheaper than reprofiling

    Just for ref:

M50 or US S50 cams will go into a 328

M52 or US S52 cams won't go into an M50 unless you change the cam carriers.
