    Hi guys im new to owning a bmw my 1st one!!! and can i just say how happy i am lol i dnt know whats what !

    Any ways the car revs just over 7k does this mean its been remaped or chiped as i have read on this ? and its very talkie and feel very fast lol the car flys how do you know if it got any think done to the engine like a m50 manafold !!! plsss help :( lol its a 328i 1997

    sound like an m50 conversation mate and a remap
    if it looks like this then it an't been done, the m50 is a flatter manifold

    That's a standard M52 manifold, so no upgrades there!

    If this is not a m50 conversation where can i get it done and how can i check if its been re maped because i dnt want to pay for 1 if its all ready has one lol

    You say it revvs to 7K, I guess it's mapped?! Mines only goes to and ever has gone to 6.5K

    As for the inlet, as everyone has said - Stock M52 mani, get a M50 on there, my life do they make a great difference!!

    M50 inlet you can pick up off ebay or what ever, I believe there is a guy on there than does the fitting kits for them, or the manifold with the needed modifications, not sure which, all I know they get good reports - I just got a stock M50 and made up the rest my self, pretty easy if you know what you are doing

    Saying that I think I did some mods at the same time which made life much easy to fit it!
    1st> 2004 Seat Ibiza 1.2
    2nd> 2005 Seat Ibiza 1.9TDI FR
    3rd> 1991 VW Polo Coupe 1.3
    4th> 1990 Honda CRX Del Sol
    5th> 1998 BMW E36 328
    6th> 2003 BMW E46 M3
