So im looking to replace my airfilter, im going for a replacement panel filter.

Been looking on the 'bay etc, and it seems pipercross and K&N seem the way to go.

What are your thoughts on the above? They both seem the same price etc... whats the difference??

    Thanks in advance, Chris

there is a school of thought that says k and n filters can affect your maf as the oil they use drops out of suspension and coats the wires.
i have a pipercross panel fitted and, afaik, they use an electrostatic spray to attract dust particles...not oil.

Got my self a dave f for my 328i. Love the noise! Not a panel though. But I think it looks/sounds better than an airbox
