Right then, I'm entering a 1997 E36 328i, in the Practical Peformance Car £999 Challenge.
I know that swapping the inlet from a 325i M50 engine releases some extra horsepower, I'm also planning on binning the cats, and fitting a cold air induction(made out of any bits of old inlet pipe i have kicking about).
I'm also thinking of removing either the back or middle box, out of the exhaust too.
I'm also stripping it to within an inch of it's life (all the interior out, dashboard out, doors stripped, plastic side windows fitted, any metal that can be cut out, etc...).
Can't waste cash on lowering springs/shocks, so it will have the standard coils cut.
Can anyone suggest anything else that can be done, for very little cash(used parts, i have a budget of about £200)?
Or, can you see a problem with what I'm planning to do already?
Also, has anyone got any idea what sort of BHP i can expect to acheive?
Your help and advice is very welcome.
