Thinking of putting a free flow air filter like K&N or Pipercross into my 325tds.

But I've read somewhere that the oil gets pulled off the filter, sticks to the air mass meter and stuffs it up.

Any body know anything about this?

Also are there any good filters that do not need to be oiled?

    Cheers

Yep, had it happen on mine a few years back, new AFM from GSFCP set me back £179.

Pipercross are not too bad or anything thats more of a foam type filter as these are not oily and have better filtration.
