    hi guys,

I just wanted to know if i put a stainless maifold on a e36 325 and on an e46 325. Will this increase power or would i lose power. Some sites say that a stainless manifold can increase bhp by 15bhp and are dyno proven. Is this true???????

    Thanks

A properly designed stainless manifold will alway increase power. I wouldn't expect 15bph though as that will be based on having a SS manifold as well as a load of other mods. You may get 15bhp using SS manifold and a re-map

    e46 330Ci - with some extra goodies

I put them on my 325 and TBH didnt notice much difference in the performance. The car was smoother accelerating and seemed a bit more responsive....
    No where near 15bhp though.....

The rest of the exhaust is standard. I didnt want the extra noise so left it alone...
BMW exhausts flow fairly well anyway...

Best power gains would come from a remap or chip IMO...
