Hi guys, sorry if this a question covered before, but can't find my answer anywhere. Being trying to get outside all week to have a look under the car myself, but weathers been bad.
I'm getting a grumble from near the cats on my exhaust and have decided to use it as an excuse to upgrade the system. Well my query is: Can the cat and back box be removed together or does they loop over anything? Diff etc

I have seen a custom exhaust but the cat and back box are all one unit with no way of separating them. Can i drop both my cat and back box as one unit and simply fit the custom one, or would I need to split and rejoin the custom exhaust?

The exhaust will drop off fine by itself.

You have a join right by the engine from the manifolds, and another between the cat and backbox in approx the middle of the car

jus a note to bear in mind when unbolting your exhaust manifold to downpipe nuts; use plenty of heat form a blow torch as they are notorious for snapping
    318IS PROJECT
    On the to do list:
Fit: Supercharger, New exhaust - get a twin pipe, Vibe front speakers , Front splitter repair/respray install

To do :Poss refurb wheels, Sort dents, Put front lights back to OEM, Respray, Remap

Sideways is the only way forward

Thanks for your help guys. Reason for asking was I saw a full system on eBay, cat is welded to back box though! Turns out I'm too skint to buy it anyway! Thanks again!
