    Hey,

I was looking for some opinions on this car and is there any cheap(ish) mods that can be done to increase the performance?

I'm not really sure if being auto hinders any modifications. Ie, M50 Manifold doable? Induction kit? (which?)

    Cheers!

The performance mods are the same on a 323 as the 328. The manifold/bbtb conversion works very well on an auto. I will pm you some info

    Hi Buddy,

Manifold & bbtb work well as Alpina527 has mentioned and his conversion is second to none!!

See if you can source a Dave F induction kit as they work well also or a decent filter kit + heatshield.

Lastly a remap always help and should give you a very good end result.

thanks for the replies, will get back to alpina next month when I get paid for the manifold conversion.

i'll keep an eye out for the dave f induction kit too.

how much does a remap cost?

Another thing I want to do, purely for looks is to have 18" M3 alloys and also lower the car, any tips on that re: lowering?

It's not found on an m50 manifold as standard. They are custom converted 328 bodies

Would have thought the best mod you wouldn't be penalised at all or greatly for would be to switch to manual.
